It’s that time of year – back to school. And as certified supply nerds (we never found a pencil we didn’t like), we always have our eyes peeled for anything seriously cool (and, let’s be honest, collectable) when it comes to stocking our workspace with pens and paper.
This year, our collection is made up of Public – Supply’s limited edition collaborative composition books. Public – Supply is a for-profit company that channels 25% of profits from every sale to a teacher in a high-need classroom who will use the money for a project that drives creativity. They are one of 1,700 certified B corporation’s (i.e., they’re legally required to consider the impact of their decisions not only on their shareholders, but also on their stakeholders – e.g., workers, suppliers, community, consumers, and the environment) in over 130 industries and 50 countries. Sounds like something you want to support? We thought so.
But hold your horses. It gets better.
This season, they teamed up with artists like Tim Coppens, Edward Granger, Erik Parker, Ty Williams, and even Band of Outsiders (to name a few) to create limited editions of their already chic composition books (yeah, we might have just bought the whole collection). Even better? Each limited edition book raises money for a different school or scholarship fund – like Joe’s Blackbook Design Scholarship. The books come in three different sizes and range in price from $12-$20.
Now the only question is, how many of each should we order (one to use and one to keep?) and how are we going to find writing utensils chic enough to match? (Don’t worry, they’ve got you covered there, too.)
Keep scrolling to check out some of the art inspired notebooks we can’t wait to add to our collection. Seriously though, how cute would these be framed in an office?
