Suzanne Droese, Founder + Principal

Suzanne Droese is a PR powerhouse. Boasting more than 20 years of experience, she is an industry veteran, with a proven track record at building lasting, impactful relationships bridging the gap between her clientele and the media. 

 From creating brand opportunities that maximize exposure to securing high-visibility editorial, Suzanne is a credible, go-to fixture within the PR and media communities. Her namesake business, Droese Public Relations, boasts a roster of bold-faced current and past clients, from luxury retailer Forty Five Ten to premier tequila brand Casa Dragones. 

 Suzanne is led by her innate sense of style, attention to detail (some might even call her Miss Manners), and her rich industry knowledge. As principal of DPR, Suzanne directs and manages all accounts, leads and conceptualizes strategic partnership and works closely with all clients on their communication and marketing needs. Under Suzanne’s leadership, DPR was lauded with the BeSpoke Communications Award for Best Launch/Relaunch Campaign in 2017. In 2020, she was named to The Dallas 500, a notable honor celebrating the most influential leaders in North Texas. The firm was also named to the Forbes’ 2021 list of America’s Best PR Agencies.

 

In 2017, Suzanne expanded her portfolio of media expertise, co-founding Estate Five Media, an innovative talent management agency that connects the world’s most influential content creators and talent with internationally renowned brands. 

 Suzanne is an active advocate for the community and supports numerous non-profits. She is a past chair of some of Dallas’ most prestigious fundraisers including Cattle Baron’s Ball benefiting American Cancer Society, Art Ball benefiting the Dallas Museum of Art and TWO x TWO for AIDS and Art benefitting amfAR and the Dallas Museum of Art. Suzanne has been recognized with several awards for her volunteer service. She was the recipient of the Gradus Award from The Birthday Party Project, which is awarded for outstanding service, impact and empowerment of the non-profit organization.

In addition to her philanthropic efforts, Suzanne is an avid public speaker. She has offered keynotes at numerous universities and actively moderates and participates in panel discussions around leadership, the PR industry, women’s empowerment and more. A female founder herself, Suzanne’s true passion shines in empowering women’s organizations and she is an outspoken advocate for women in the workplace. 

 Noted for her entrepreneurial success and her civic leadership, Suzanne has been featured in a number of publications, including W Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Harper’s Bazaar, The Business of Fashion, the CFDA’s newsletter, The PR Net, D MagazinePaperCity, and more. 

 Suzanne is married to celebrated architect, David Droese. Together they have twin boys.

 Oh, and these are a few of her favorite things: No. 2 pencils and leopard print. The semicolon and exquisite stationery. The perfect cafe au lait — or a flute of Dom. She loves making a difference and Mid-Century modern furniture. She’s a lover of Verdura and Valextra and she never skips breakfast.
